The colour scale is the same in every piece. Variants use other palettes with the same idea, dark for little snow and light for a lot.

Several pieces follow three kinds of fate, as if each glacier were a patient. Some hold, year after year. Some look fine for a long time, then collapse fast, down to the level of those already weak, sometimes lower. And some swing, weak and irregular since the first year. The full set puts them all together.
